Q: DOES DAMAGE OCCUR TO THE NATURAL LASH WHILE WEARING EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
A: Many factors are important to prevent damage to the natural lash. Such as the following:
The training acquired by the artist is vital for the success of application and general experience of the service. Technique and anatomy of the eye and understanding the lash cycle is part of the training if the artist attended a quality class/workshop.
The brushing and separating process of during and after the eyelash extensions are being applied is important. The separation keeps the extensions from sticking/attaching together and creating a pinching sensation.
Clients should be provided with general information regarding the maintenance of the extensions. Proper after care products are necessary to maintain good hygiene and allow the hair follicles to breath and continue the lash cycle.
The size, diameter, and the realistic look that the natural hair can hold is a consideration.
Is the clients expectations realistic?
The shape flattering to the facial features and the natural hair structure?
Which technique is best for the client: Classic, Volume or a combination called Hybrid?
Some synthetic lash extensions and the thickness can be uncomfortable for clients who have sensitivity. Lash Esthetica offers several diameters appropriate for classic or volume.
A proper application of a full set of lashes consist of 3 different lengths of lashes at a minimum.
Excessive tugging on your extensions during normal wear time can damage your lashes.
Use of Mascara and not removing completely can weaken the natural hair. Waterproof mascara should be avoided. Mascara can be harsh on the life span of the extensions and create breakage.

Q: " I AM UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR CHEMOTHERAPY. I AM CONTEMPLATING ON GETTING LASHES. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?" " IS IT SAFE?"
A: There is no contradictions to get a set of lash extensions prior or after treatment. The results will vary. Or product of choice is safe to use. A conservative application is the best approach. The Hybrid lashing is the best technique for the following reasons:
Volume allows more then 1 extension per lash
When doing volume the lashes are much thinner then classic
Less adhesive is needed for attachment then classic.
A client undergoing treatment usually lose their natural lashes. In order to apply extensions natural lashes have to be available. We highly suggest to wait towards the end of treatment to consider getting lashes. The drugs running through the system takes some time to run through the human body and hair can begin to grow and have a shorter life span then normal until it regulates most clients getting lash services should have realistic expectations and frequent bi-weekly fills are typical. Consults are recommended to continue discussing.
Q: " I HAVE LASH EXTENSIONS ALREADY. CAN I BOOK A FILL?"
A: We love to take new clients with lash extensions already but we do not offer fills as a service. A client may have classic, volume or hybrid. In most instances clients are misinformed about what they actually have. A client may say they have lashes and need only a fill then come in with 5 lashes left on each eye. That is not considered a fill but a new full set. LE has a unique business model that focuses on symmetry mapping. Fills do not alot enough time to create a custom look.
Q: "WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLASSIC , VOLUME AND HYBRID?"
Classic lashes come in a thicker diameter and are applied by a 1 by 1 ratio. The whole lash swipes to the length of the natural lash.
Volume is multiple lashes in a much thinner diameter. There is 2D, 3D, 4D, 5D and so on. (ex. 3D means 3 lashes per natural lash). The attachment of the extensions to the natural lash requires less adhesive and only at a percentage closer to the base of the hair towards the lid. More information will be provided during the service.
Hybrid is a combo of classic and volume together. This full set creates a fuller look and enhances a classic look yet scales back on the volume on a person who may want a pop with a conservative approach.

A: It will be likely that you will experience another reaction again. Reactions experienced after several services over time risk the chance of becoming progressively worse. If you aren't sure call directly to discuss your situation. In other instances length of an extension, different styles of gel patches, or medications are examples of adverse reactions.
